Community Risk Reduction

A fundamental mission of the Bellevue Fire Department is to assist the public in the protection of life and property by minimizing the impact of fire, medical emergencies and potential disasters or uncontrolled events.

From school programs, to fire safety and prevention, to fall prevention for seniors, the Bellevue Fire Department believes that community risk reduction through education is an important step to empower residents and spread public awareness about fire and life safety risks.

We have developed a myriad of training programs, educational fact sheets and videos that showcase simple steps individuals can take towards improving their fire and life safety.
