If you are interested in joining our team as a firefighter, this is the place to look. If you are interested in an administrative position, those opportunities would be advertised on the City of Bellevue employment page.

Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician

Updated 6/25/18

We are currently planning a January 2019 recruit academy.

Bellevue Fire uses a third party vendor for testing called Public Safety Testing (PST).  Test scores will be pulled from the PST database, and the applicants that applied for the City of Bellevue will be ranked and will move forward for further assessment by the Fire Department. There is a fee associated with both the written test and the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). A wide array of test dates are provided in several different locations.
Specific information is available on their website at

It is important that interested individuals contact PST to navigate their process.  Please be sure to explain that you wish your scores be made available to Bellevue.  We will be asking PST for test scores by the first week of August 2018. Please pay attention to the agency's process for when your scores will be valid.
